We’re here to help construction companies scale their team, by offering them a tailor made recruitment solution, specifically designed to meet the demands of the construction industry.

Our founders have been in recruitment a long time, and have worked with hundreds of construction companies, most have a terrible tale of experiences with recruitment. Whether it be high-recruitment costs through agencies, or a poor choice of candidates, or the inability to recruit internally causing delays to company growth.

We’re here to change all of that. Our methods of recruiting are traditional, but our approach to pricing is modern and disruptive.

We charge £295 + VAT per week, and look after everything from top to bottom. Weekly rolling contract, cancel any time.

That’s why we have partnered with one of the worlds leading Applicant Tracking Systems, Manatal, which houses and tracks all of the work done by your recruiter on your vacancies. Here you will also find all of the candidate data related to your vacancies, allowing you to make multiple hires effortlessly.

They have access to all of the main recruiting channels including a network of job boards, CV databases and Linkedin.

By working with Trade Talent, you will be partnered with a dedicated recruiter. They are extremely familiar with the construction industry. They understand the job roles, the qualifications, the salaries and the jargon.

They will spend time at the beginning with you, discussing and agreeing exactly what you’re looking for and getting to know your business.

  • How do your fees work?
    Unlike traditional recruitment agencies, we do not charge any placement fees, commission fees or ongoing fees, we simply charge a weekly fee to recruit on your behalf. We cover all of the associated advertising costs, cv database costs, software costs, and anything else that’s required to run a recruitment department.
  • Are there any associated costs with multiple hires?
    There are no charges per hire, so if you hire 1 or 50 people over the course of our service, the price remains the same.
  • Are there any long term contracts?
    Nope! Once your roles have been filled, or if you no longer require staff, or if you simply want to stop the service, you can cancel at any time.
  • What does your service include?
    Our service includes the following: An initial onboarding call to understand the role, your business and workplace culture. 24/7 access to our recruitment platform for you and your team A professionally written Job Advertisement Vacancy marketing across the UK’s leading job boards Passive candidates resourced from the main UK CV Databases + our own internal talent pool. Applicant screening to understand who meets the brief Screening interviews (via phone or video) with the long list applicants Creation of a short-list of the top candidates Full candidate profile building All interviews managed and scheduled by us, for you Notification of all applicants / candidate on the status of their application Employment offer negotiation Employee reference check (subject to request) Pre-employment checks and vetting (subject to request)
  • What does your service NOT include?
    Not a lot really: Psychometric testing Physical attendance at the interviews Legal documents or HR processes Placement fees That's about it!
  • When will I typically see results?
    There are a large variety of factors when determining time to hire, location, seniority of role, salary on offer etc. However our ‘average time to hire’ across the board happens between weeks 3 and 5.
